I found this video really interesting. It brought forth so many thought strands. Strangely enough, it brought to my mind the Gospel of Thomas, God does not reside in a building of stone, God is inside us and we are inside God. Is it, lift a rock and I will be there? So, is the function of all these churches to deceive?

I don’t know the answer to that, but it’s at least the function of a lot more churches than I would like (I would like zero). It’s interesting stuff to think about though, I’ll agree with you there. Thanks for the comment. Cheers.

I’m not modern so I don’t understand what a hack is. How is the freemason use of symbols and spiritual mysteries a hack and what does that mean? Like any religion there will be sincere members amongst the wolves. (No offence to wolves).
The hand gestures, for example, I don’t think they bring any power, I would say it’s a sign of allegiance. If it is truly powerful it’s not something I would like to be part of. There are much purer forms of spiritual power from the source, and so maybe? Ive come full circle, so maybe a hack is getting dirty/polluted power because it’s coming from an impure source.
I’m not intellectually equipped to express this, have done my best.
Learned something new with the sacred geometry. Thank you.

    Nathan,
This chapter of a free and important book is a translation of a talk given by a forest monk reputed to be fully enlightened after having practiced in the Thai Forest Tradition for many years. It goes into the release from final and primal delusions that seem to correspond with “the light” so to speak; basically attaching to one’s own consciousness, when attachment itself is the ultimate problem, according to the Buddha as I understand it. Starting with Chapter One is recommended as this chapter is informed by the prior. This website is a treasure trove of good translations for seekers of enlightenment, with interest in meditation. Thanks for your work. Peace. http://www.accesstoinsight.org/lib/thai/boowa/straight.html#radiant

I must admit The idea of forming and contemplating images to channel new abilities is in fact a hack, and its exactly what celebrities do, but these hacks are not from God and leaves the question of what portal you’re really opening. So it worries me to hear that being in a way advocated in this channel. Regarding Lucifer/Satan LTV might be interested in Job 1, where God has a conversation with satan. Again im worried about the door this is opening. If anyone is looking for the gift of discerning and wisdom the answer begins in 1 Corinthians 12. it’s good to be aware of the enemy’s tactics, but fire can’t be fought with fire. Remember the original lie: immortality, become gods, ultimate wisdom. Is what the serpent promised Eve, they already had all 3 but gave it up and men have been trying to Reclaim it since then through their own methods instead of through Christ.
Just trying to balance out the conversation.

I’m not quite sure what makes Americans so fond of religion, especially the cult of Jesus. I think maybe it’s because they have never really had the holy wars and inquisition plus all of the countless atrocities caused by religious fanatics. In Europe most thinking people are basically anti-religion or treat it as a quaint ongoing festival.
People who are religious “believers” are the easiest to convince there is a “Devil” and look for all sorts of creepy facts to back up their beliefs (I put masons in the same boat). The catholic church and the protestant factions own vast amounts of wealth and power which is laughable when they preach humility and humble living LOL.
Nathan, I like your efforts on the Moon rover and the space station but I shall give this broadcast a miss. Not because I have a closed mind but because at the age of 74 I’ve heard it all before and it’s just another trip down a well trodden path to nowhere.
If you really want to know about the soul then take the time to read Thinking and Destiny by Percival.

You’re talking about the quadrivium – number, numbers in time, numbers in space, numbers in time and space.

Or, number, harmonics, geometry, and cosmology/astrology.

The second part of the seven liberal arts, the first being the trivium.

    We should talk about it.

etymology of the word “geometry” is “measurement of earth”. we’ve been taken away from this concept, but all geometry lessons used to be taught outdoors in nature. now it is all taught more or less in 2d on chalkboards and pages of books and now tablets and laptop screens.

Per mystery schools…Pythagoras said: “Man, know thyself: then thou shalt know the Universe, and God.”
ALL awareness in this present human round is found through using the human tools of mind, emotion, intuition and the five senses. Knowing one’s self in the disciplined frame of the 5 mathematical disciplines as the basis for engaging the philosophy of life is knowing concomitantly all that implies being human and the dynamics there in. The use of the doorway of mental discipline for entering the vast and true study of life insures commitment, depth and scope of mental capacities and an acute awareness and understanding of the limits of the mind centered tools. That accomplished allows one to enter the true philosophies of life vis a vis the ‘intellectual’ philosophies of life from a more humble frame of reference for one has fully explored the mind through the 5 disciplines. The next steps are guarded as mysteries because they contain doors and understandings which allow deep insight into how humans function. That type of understanding has hueueueueuege temptations and pitfalls for the egocentric and manipulative to engage. Without full understanding of implications and the many ripples and echos of any actions taken always leads to self centered results rather than higher minded for the general good results…thus the spiritual path can only open through proper approach and technique for otherwise the temptations and mistakes always win over the ego which has not been schooled in understanding it’s true nature and relationship to existence.

I think maybe I should have had you take my place at the head of the class for this one. I’m still finding my way on this journey so it’s good to hear a refined argument. Cheers.

        Nathan,

As a rising interweb star myself, I can tell you not all things stick and that’s OK. I watched for a while but got confused and then took a nap. But that’s not unlike most days as I am a cat.

Hang in there (are you old enough to remember that poor cat hanging on a pole that they made into a grotesque poster in the 70s or 80s? If so, forget that. I really mean hang in there in the most easy and relaxing sense, buddy).

You seem to have a good heart plus an inquiring mind. Great combination for the quest. You may have noted in my response that once the 5 disciplines are mastered, one gains a perspective on what humble, egocentric, emotion, logic, rational, intuitive, refined, coarse etc mean within the universal archetype of the human character. The next door, that which opens to the quest for a God connection requires those understandings be in place in order to discriminate and discern within and without that which is of the higher mind vs that which is the distraction…life long endeavor for sure.
