I know that you sir know what I meant. You're a Youtuber who does commentary and it's not uncommon to use sensationalism to try to garner attention. It's marketing, and I'm pretty sure you've said so yourself.
There are certain negative traits that come with being a Youtuber, and sensationalizing is hardly a big deal. But just own it?
The real negative part of it is covering negative events/news.
A few weeks ago Tim Pool was talking about societal collapse and dealing with the aftermath, and he had this excitement and glee on his face.
Ian(who is widely despised) called him out about it. He was physically upset and said things like "You're talking about this with this excitement and a smile, that's so sick!" I've never been more proud of Ian than in that moment.
You displayed some of that when talking about the banking collapse though, and that's why I mention it.

Youtubers as a whole have this insincerity that comes along with them, and it becomes manifested in various ways.
An obvious way is ad reads, but I think in general many types of Youtube channels have to live a certain fiction.
Like people go all in for Trump because it boosts them, and maybe they are really "all-in" but their motivation is the fake part.
This isn't directed at Nathan in a hateful way, but in general for people who make this sort of content. I think it affects them, and us.
